OUR VISION
Jessica Kay Foundation Vision is to become a Community Resource Facility that supports our youth, individuals and families providing them with all the resources they need to be successful in life, no matter what obstacles they may face.

OUR HISTORY
Vision in 2012, Founded in 2017 by Jessica Shinholster, Executive Director. Ms. Shinholster wanted to give back to the community she came from. Her vision was to start a Non Profit that was geared toward the three most issues that she was connected too and had empathy for. Her main objective than became to figure how to do accomplish those goals.
She envisioned a school-based mentoring program for teen parents, a summer camp for pre-teen girls and a way to give back to the homeless. These programs are now known what is called Journey, #GirlsLead and KAYCARES. With the help of her Board of Directors and Volunteers they are able to fulfill the Vision of 2012.
